The Fort Lewis Fall Blaze is changing its name to Ride, Sip, and Rip and it will be held September 27, 2025. Please help support this 26 time National Championship program by signing up and participating in this year’s event. Can’t make it? Start your day spinning alongside Fort Lewis College Cycling athletes on a relaxed, no-drop community ride. Chat with the team, hear their stories, and see what it’s like to train and race at a championship level. Then, wind down with a happy hour where riders mingle with guests before taking the stage in a thrilling short track race.
9am Union Social House-
Social no drop ride in small groups mixed with FLC riders to help guide you on a morning spin before evening racing. We will offer some coffee and snacks the hour prior to the ride. Great time to socialize and meet other supporters.
We will have groups of roughly 20 rolling out a couple minutes apart to create some smaller more personal groups. Each group will have a couple of FLC Students to help lead groups and be a day in the life of a FLC rider.
All groups will ride clockwise lap of the valley by going out 203 and returning on 250. We will have a fully stocked aid station near the base of Shalona and the north end of the valley. Groups will mix and ride home from the aid station to go home and recover before coming up to FLC clock tower for some Short Track racing.
Happy hour kicks off at 4pm to watch the students race short track all around FLC campus. All races are 20 minutes plus 1 lap.
