Durango Hot Springs Resort has been redesigned to cater to all our visitors, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere with ample space for families and events. We’ve strategically placed family-friendly soaking pools for an enjoyable experience.

The resort features 32 natural mineral hot spring soaking pools. Eight of these pools near the swimming area are open to families, while the additional pools on the western side are for adults. The new 90,000-gallon resort-style pool has a gradual slope to a depth of 4’6”, connecting to family-friendly mineral pools for shared use during designated times for swimming, exercise, and training.

Durango Hot Springs stands out as one of the only hot springs globally using the AquaGen water system, infusing pools with nano-meter and micro-meter oxygen bubbles. This unique system enhances oxygen delivery to the bloodstream, benefiting the brain and heart. It also promotes skin health by infusing oxygen through the skin, aiding in the repair of skin disorders and scar tissues. These oxygen bubbles, with natural antimicrobial properties, maintain water cleanliness without introducing foreign substances. Q Are the hot springs all natural?

Our water is naturally geothermally heated, coming out of our well at 120 degrees. The pools are man-made.

Q Are the facilities clothing optional?

No, clothes are required on our property. We have shower rooms available for changing.

Q Do you sell alcohol? Can I bring alcohol with me?

We offer beer, wine, frozen drinks, and more at our concession area “Bear’s Water Shed” and the new bar “Tap 203”. You are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages with you.

Q Are children allowed?

Yes, children are allowed. Children under 15 must be supervised by a parent or guardian, age 18 or over, at all times. Children under 8 must be within the arm’s reach of a parent at all times. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, 18 or over.
Because we want all of our guests to enjoy their experience, we do remind anyone visiting with children that the mineral hot tubs are for relaxing. We do not allow splashing, swimming, diving, jumping, loud voices, toys, floats, or boisterous play that could disrupt the relaxation of other guests in the soaking hot tubs. However, children are allowed to play and splash in the new resort-style swimming pool.
