One of the most iconic races in the country as it just celebrated it’s 50th anniversary of the racing the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge train 47 miles to Silverton with 4326ft of elevation. The race/tour was the bloom of the Durango cycling scene and hosts over 200 riders each year. This year will see the return of the downtown based mountain bike race going through Steamworks Brewing. Over the years the race has also had criteriums, straight rhythms, dual slaloms, time trials and the newer gravel race. Be sure to sign up early as many of the races and tours sell out.
